This workshop offers a great foundation for couples who want to give Tantra a propper place in their relationship. We will work on a few essential Tantric practices which will support you in unlocking authentic intimacy in your relationship.
Why this workshop?
Do you really show up in your relationship? In this workshop, we will explore what it means to really be yourself while being in contact with your partner. Yes, this can be scary sometimes. What if the other will not like the whole of you? During the day we will step by step guide you towards these terrains for deeper authenticity. And yes, that’s where the deeper intimacy is born.
We will work with:
- Inquiries to get to know each other (and yourself) on a deeper level
- Breathwork, to open up your vitality
- Tantric practices, to deepen and connect
For whom?
- Experience with Tantra or spiritual practice is not needed
- You can come with your partner or with an occasional partner.
- English speaking guests are welcome.
- This workshop is for everyone: straight, gay or otherwise.
How sexy is this workshop?
This is a relevant question. We understand that your intimate life normally doesn’t take place in a room full of half-known people.
Our experience however is that most participants respond along the lines of: “ooh, that was intense but subtle. I imagined it to be much more sexual.”
Yes, we work with themes like sexuality and intimacy, there is mindful touching and perhaps some excitement will be revealed, but we also have guidelines:
- In this workshop, everybody keeps their clothes on.
- Generally, you’ll work with your own partner
About Sjors Boelaars
After his masters in philosophy he became a captain on ocean-going sailing yachts, started a good food company, and experienced the highs of life until a burnout knocked on the door. In the following years he explored meditation, yoga and various shamanistic traditions till he came on the tantric path.
Sjors is a certified tantric therapist by Lama Tsultrim Allione, he did a two year training in Non Dual Shaiva Tantra at the Centre for Tantra in Amsterdam and since 2019 he is a student of Hareesh Christopher Wallis, one of the foremost living teachers and scholars on classical tantra teaching from the Kaula Trika lineage.
